When my twins began to crawl, I opened a gift from a friend. It was a pair of footless tights. I put them on my daughter with a little lavender skirt and thought she looked like the cutest little ballerina I had ever seen!

I loved them and hated them. I despise tights and pantyhose. They are not comfortable for me, therefore they aren't for her. They sag in the middle and are a pain to fight with to change a diaper. I loved how the thicker footless tights protected her knees when she crawled but what about her twin brother?

I needed the protection of the footless tights, diaper access, comfort, and an option for boys. Posh Legs were born. I created a thigh high leg warmer of sorts with solids and patterns for both boys and girls.

My babies wore them all the time. I started taking photographs of them making them my first models. As they grew they became a fashion statement for them. Then came potty training, what a nightmare. Although they were both physically ready, we struggled. I had read of those that used a naked method and had great success. Living in the midwest was not conducive to this method three seasons out of the year. After tons of pee pee laundry, I decided to dress them in a shirt and Posh Legs alone. I couldn't have anticipated the success of this method.

The story of Posh Pipsqueak began out of necessity but grew into a passion to share this fashionable and functional leg wear alternative with others. My line is constantly evolving as I strive to respond to customer requests and suggestions.
